Its been a while since i did one of my photowalks. This time I decided to drive all the way to Qurayat and what a Wonderful day I had. I finally had the time and chance to visit the famous Dayqa Damn towards Mazareh in Qurayat Region. Below are some of the photos I have taken for this beautiful place. Wadi Dhaiqah is a wadi, or dry river bed, in a canyon about 90 kilometers east of the Bait Hattat (Wadi Adei) roundabout in Muscat, Oman. As many as 120 other wadis lead to this valley, which contains a natural park extending from Wilayat Dima W’attayyeen in the Sharqiyah region to the Wilayat of Qurayyat in the Governorate of Muscat. Wadi Dhaiqah contains the fruit farms of Al Mazarea, and has been the focus of Omani government plans for a major irrigation project.
All the photos were taken using Canon 5D Mark II, except the last one, I used the leica M9 with 35mm summicron. Enjoy
