  7. Salim , how to identify full frame dslr and cropped frame dslr ? what is ur opinion abt Canon 650d + 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 lense ?

    • Ajith

The best way just to check you manual or search the net of your camera whether it’s full frame or cropped.. The camera is amazing, but the lens is just a kit lens, of which it’s fine initially but to upgrade your photography career you would need to buy a better lens

  8. hello there Mr. Salim! I have a Canon 600d with 18-135mm kit lens. Aside from it’s zoom range, what is the difference of the 18-135 mm kit lens to the 18-200mm Canon lens? Hope you can provide a clear comparison of the two. Thanks in advance. I am an avid follower of your blog.

  9. Hi Salim. I’m planning to buy a canon 50mm f/1.4 lens for my EOS 60D. What is your opinion on this lens as i’m bit confused after reading a lot of reviews online?
Should i go for a f/1.4 or f/1.8 lens? I’d categorize myself as an enthusiast and trying to learn photography from my mistakes and trial & error.
How much can i shell out of my pocket, if bought in Oman?

    • Dinesh,

As I said, that lens is one is a must for low light photographer. And ofcourse the lower the aperture the better. So I would go with the 1.4 But remember the quality of the glass plays a big role. The one I am referring above is the cheap one around 200 Dollars. Which idea for those who start photography and dont want to spend alot of money initially

  10. Dear Salim,

    Pls advise for me

  13. Thanks for the advise
Does that mean 18-200 lense would be the BEST lense to serve that purpose or any other better choice for Nikon d 7100
I’m already got 50mm, and 70-300 as well
