One of the interesting things you can shoot while on street are tattoos. Question is, how close can you get?.

Depends lol. I was in Philadelphia, USA, a while back, walking down the street, and between blocks, I saw this young lady sitting on a porch outside an apartment building. As you can see, she has a lot going on with herself, and when I did a double take upon seeing her, our eyes ended up locking. It was then I did something I “rarely” do in the street (and when I do, it comes by gut instinct): I asked permission to take her photograph: Why? Cause she was too fantastic to miss, and yes, I wanted to get closer. I wish I could have focused on the tattoo more, but I was in the street and didn’t have time to make multiple decisions like that, so this is what I got: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jihadlevine/8732823059/ I do have another image, full body of her, less detail, which features her torn fish-net stockings. When I get time, IA, I’ll work it.
Lol, very nice Saffiya. I know exactly what you mean, I have those alot, but these days I dont fear anymore. If I like someone, I just go there and ask for a permission. The worst it can happen is for him or her to say no. But most of the time I get a Yes :). Lovely photo by the way
