The Mona Lisa is a half-length portrait of a woman by the Italian artist Leonardo da VinciLeonardo da Vinci, which has been acclaimed as “the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world”.

Now to be able to photograph this very famous and expensive paint its no joke, especially with hundreds of  visitors touring and roaming around it. But as I always say, never give up, make sure you have the right gear and proper planning in advance and you will always get the perfect picture, and here is my take of the Mona Lisa when I was in France Recently, hope you like it. One is the Original one with the Frame, and the Other One, I have cropped it so that only the Painting would Show. Click on Both of the Photos for High Resolution

  1. That’s great. Many museums don’t permit photography.

  2. Thanks a lot Salim and I totally agree with your statement “right gear and proper planning in advance and you will always get the perfect picture”

Also wanted to say your shoot is prefect

  3. Thanks Salim ! Nice click indeed ! With so many tourists clicking, it is difficult to get a shot like this at eye level, from outside of the cordoned off area.
